Mermaid Pendant/Necklace Available 4 Different Ways in Sterling Silver
A beautiful mermaid makes a rare trip to shore, resting there while the sky swirls with mystical energy. This unique mermaid is available in 4 different configurations, a necklace accented with stone beads, a necklace with an attached sterling silver chain, a pendant that dangles beneath a tube bail patterned with swirls, or medallion that hangs from a 8mm twisted sterling jump ring. It is truly a magical piece of jewelry and sure to please any mermaid lover no matter which style you choose.
The mermaid on it's background measures 7/8 inches tall by 1 3/4 inches wide. When combined with a jump ring the height is 1 1/4 inches tall, when accented with the swirl tube bail it is 1 1/2 inches tall. A black cord is included with either fantasy pendant selection. Both mermaid necklaces are adjustable from 16 - 20 inches, making them great for a variety of body types and necklines. The mermaid necklace with bead accents alternates natural gemstone beads arranged in sections about 1 inch long with sections of chain that are also about 1 inch long. If you need a necklace made longer than 20 inches please contact me. The end of each fantasy necklace is finished either with a sterling silver or stone bead depending on the style chosen.

Blue & Green -- Amazonite drop surrounded by Green Jade balls and Lapis Lazuli chips alternating with sections of Amazonite with Peridot chips and Blue Apatite balls.
Black Tourmaline -- Natural Black Tourmaline crystals bookended with Amethyst balls, alternating sections have deep red Garnet balls.
Black & White Druzy -- Natural White Druzy with a Black Onyx round bead on each side. Black Druzy with Crackled Clear Quartz on each side and a smaller Black Onyx bead. Note: the White Druzy didn't photograph well, it has much more sparkle and texture than what the photo indicates.
Quartz Crystals -- Natural Quartz Crystals are accented with Aquamarine and Citrine and then with Pink Kunzite and Green Jade.

As with all of my work this piece of fantasy jewelry is my original design was created using the lost wax method. I first start by doing a detailed drawing of my intended subject. Then I sculpt my design in wax. I start with overall shape and form, then adding detail such as facial features, scales and fins. After the wax sculpture is complete it is cast in sterling silver, excess metal is removed, rough polished, linked together, soldered, patina applied, then completed by a final polish and a coating of Renaissance Wax for a soft satin glow. It is a time consuming process, but one that I thoroughly enjoy.
